Though there will never be another James Jamerson, we can all aspire to learn from his unique, yet often misunderstood style and technique. If you live in or near the Research Triangle area of North Carolina and are interested in studying the music of Jamerson through one-on-one lessons, drop me a line. Beginners are welcome and encouraged to enroll.

Found you through a bass site in the UK. I live in Cary and would be very interested in learning about the lessons that you offer.

      Hi Jason,
Thanks for the inquiry! I actually teach lessons at the Cary School of Music. Right now my calendar is pretty full, but I might have an opening on Saturdays at 1pm. You can call the school (919) 460-0052 to schedule for this semester or find out more on pricing. Just ask to schedule your bass lessons with Daniel. If you have any questions about curriculum or any other questions feel free to send me an email at dgarrett720@gmail.com. I hope we can work something out!
